As mentioned in the intro, in part one, I showed you five ways to add parallax to the free version of Elementor.
One of these five ways was completely free, copying and pasting code, while the other four ways were using third party premium addons for Elementor.
So with that done, today I want to focus on the amazing capabilities of Elementor Pro.
And if you’ve watched part one you will appreciate even more the ease of use of Elementor Pro’s built in amazing motion effects.
I love the fact that you can implement those effects without the need of additional plugins because, while some of these plugins are great, others can be buggy at times.
So, enough talk, let’s dive in!
How To Add Parallax Effect In Elementor: Tutorial

How To Add Parallax Effect In Elementor: Background Parallax
- Open your page with Elementor Pro
- For section background : go to the Style tab, then switch on Scrolling Effects
- Then, to add transparency, activate the Transparency option and tweak the settings to your liking.
- Then, to add blur, activate the Blur option and tweak the settings to your liking.
- Then, to rotate an object, activate the Rotate option and tweak the settings to your liking.
- Then, to add scale, activate the Scale option and tweak the settings to your liking.
- For mouse effects
- Mouse parallax
- Mouse Tilt
How To Add Parallax Effect In Elementor: Item Parallax
- Open your page with Elementor Pro
- To add parallax to an element like an image for example : go to the Advanced tab > Motion Effects, then switch on Scrolling Effects
- Then, to add transparency, activate the Transparency option and tweak the settings to your liking.
- Then, to add blur, activate the Blur option and tweak the settings to your liking.
- Then, to rotate an object, activate the Rotate option and tweak the settings to your liking.
- Then, to add scale, activate the Scale option and tweak the settings to your liking.
- For mouse effects, switch on Mouse Effects.
- Then to add mouse parallax, activate the mouse parallax option and tweak the settings to your liking.
- Then to add mouse tilt, activate the mouse tilt option and tweak the settings to your liking.
